Our commitment
Misho is a personal productivity app built for Muslim professionals. Your tasks, plans, and intentions are yours alone. We treat your data as an amanah — a trust — and we take that seriously. We collect the minimum required to make the app work. We never sell your data, and we never will.
Your tasks are private
Your tasks and lists are private to you. Only you can access them — no one at Misho can read your tasks.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We store your tasks, someday lists, and prayer-time location preferences, linked to your account. If you opt in to Google Calendar, we also store access to sync your events (see below).
GDPR
Your data is protected under GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from the app's settings, or email us at [email protected].
Cookies & storage
We use browser local storage for theme and prayer-time location preferences. Supabase sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Google Calendar access
If you choose to connect Google Calendar (a Misho Pro feature), Misho asks for permission to list your calendars and view and edit events. With your permission, Misho shows your Google events in the weekly planner and writes back changes you make. Calendar access is optional and opt-in. When you connect, a refresh token is stored securely on our server so events can stay in sync; it is never shared or sold. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings, and deleting your account revokes that access.
Data sharing
We work with one infrastructure provider to run the app. No other third party has access to your personal data. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is stored as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all your data directly from the app's settings. You can also email us at [email protected] and we'll handle it within 30 days.
